CELEBRATION: The 5th Anniversary

The time passed like so fast , it's been another year again, I still remember what he did for me when our fourth anniversary, he baked a handmake rainbow cake. Seriously, so touched to receive a rainbow cake even thou it was a little too sweet but I just can't expect more when he baked a cake for me. While me? I made him a video, a memories flash back video, all I wished was he will cry when he watch the video, and I succeed! I made him cried, HAHA.

This year, 2013, it's our fifth anniversary, 5 is actually not a great or big number but it's not small or less also, so I think that when it comes to 5, we must be really get thru a lot, it's tough but we just tried to keep ourselves important in each hearts.

Let's begin the anniversary celebration!

So, people who follow my instagram, they know that my boy made surprises for me. One day before his birthday, which was friday, I went for a movie with my friends. When I back home, I saw a box without any note on it, at first I thought my sister buy me smth, or she just put the present on my desk, that caught my curiosity, so I took it up, I saw a note under the present, written: Hello! Surprise! blablablablabla..... please love me more!! Bye! And I was like, this handwriting looked so familiar, it was my boy's handwriting.

Apparently, he came by my house and put the present when I wasn't home yet. So, GOTME! This wasn't the first time I got surprise from him but this time, I just didn't expect he will did this and what made me more excited was he bought me a denim shirt & a singlet. He wanted me to wear in the next day.

I had tuition in the next day // on his birthday, he picked me up and brought me home to change and celebrate his birthday. What double my excitement was, when I got into his car and he suddenly took out a bouquet of roses, which surprised me super duper lots. It was kinda awkward because all the tuition buddies were there, but luckily no one saw it, I mean like so so so embarrassing. I was like " ahhhhh!! roses? ahhhh roses? "

Ok, shouldn't laugh at me, this was my first time ever received roses or flowers from him or anybody else. I mean like, I wouldn't keep asking my bf to buy me flowers but maybe some useful thing because I think that flowers is just a temporary happiness which will die soon. Even so, when a girl receive flowers, for sure she will be really happy also. Just accept that girls being girls!

He got me 11 roses because 11 roses represent " you are my treasured one. the one I love most in my life". Red rose: sincere love & respect, courage & passion; pink rose: grace & gentility, the rose of sweet thoughts.
Here is the meaning of roses, click on the neon green word and see whats the meaning of how many roses your bf gets u.

I shall just straight into the point of  the anniversary dinner at Victoria Station, Damansara. I actually requested him to bring me have dinner at The Hill, Damansara Height but he didn't want to because he said he wanted to plan for this anniversary, so he brought me to Victoria Station which never failed me, as I said I want a nice and cosy environment & most of all, romantic!

I didn't bring my camera flash along, photos turned very dark & blur so I took with iPhone.

This was actually how the dining looked like, sorry for the first photo, because he moved and blur so, I have to use smth to cover it since that is the only photo of the dining looks I have TT

Here is me with my big glass of skyjuice.

I don't know was this called fine dining or normal dining because this also my first ever went to this type of restaurant to have such an expensive dinner. They served very well and I feel so much uncomfortable because service is just too good. Foods were normal and expensive but I'd enjoyed the atmosphere a lot.

Orange juice, rm7.90

Bread with love shape butter as appetizer? 0.0

Cream of Mushroom, rm7.90

Woaw.... Before they opened up the dishes for us.

Fisherman's platter, rm37.90

Salmon steak, rm34.90

He helped me to order fisherman's platter because I really got no idea what to choose. Only the fried fish hard to chew, others were not bad. About the salmon, I can't comment since I don't eat salmon and he let me tried some, I just can't stand with the smell.

I stared the lobster for moment, because I wondered can I order lobster but it's fcking expensive, costs at least rm100, so I was like.... ughh, I will try next time. Even thou, he said its ok, just order, but the money shouldn't be used in this way especially he hasn't work yet.

Tiramisu, rm11.90

Ordered tiramisu as our dessert after our meals.

It was a simple celebration for both his bday and our anniversary. 5 years really meant a lot for us, it's not easy to get thru, still we manage to tolerant, respect and love each others.

OOTD to end this post :)

H&M casual smart shirt; TOPSHOP pants; PULL & BEAR shoes; G-SHOCK watch

So as you can see, the casual smart shirt was the present I bought for him, and there's another one that I haven't give him yet but I bet he'll like it.

PULL & BEAR denim shirt; THAI leggings; GUESS shoes; FOSSIL watch; TAOBAO handbag

And yes, that was the denim shirt he got me. I have a singlet to match it but I find its hard to match because the size of this denim is a little big for me. So i just match it with leggings.

We were actually wearing almost the same, hahahahaha.

Happy Fifth Anniversary, Brian Yo!

CELEBRATION: Happy 19th Birthday, Brian!

It was my fav boy's birthday yesterday and I planned him a birthday celebration at Bangsar. Somehow, both of us don't think that it was his birthday but our anniversary. Actually our anniversary fall on 27th of August which is Tuesday, and we have school so that we can't celebrate on the actual day. He put so much effort on this 5th years anniversary and he thought his bday is just a normal day.

I'm going to talk about his birthday only in this post,  I'll post it about our fifth years anniversary on 27th !

Had his bday brunch at Nosh, Bangsar because I heard that their desserts are the best in KL. Desserts always attracted me first, but that was pretty sad because we didn't eat their desserts LOL

Will you berry me, rm17. I chose this because of the name, haha, sounds sweet. This is pancake with berries, and I actually thought that was vanilla ice cream but not, it was cream -.-

The noshling, rm23. This is like egg benedict, or same as rbb the atlantic, eggs with smoked salmon.

Passion shy,rm 12.

For July and August, Nosh has it pandan delicio as their cake of the month. Nosh normally makes different kind of cakes in every two months, and I thought I will be ordered their pandan delicio because the feedback is good, but when I asked the waiter to make a new order, and he thought I wanted to bill -.- so I just billed. But I will come again because I really want to try their desserts. Nosh is only right beside dip n dip at Jalan Telawi 3!

My fav boy, with pancake.

Isn't he looks smart? I actually wanted to buy him denim shirt but ended up bought him a casual smart shirt. Anyhow he looked great.

After that, we went to bangsar village to have a walk because brian was fulled then had our second round at coffea coffee. I knew that he loves to drink coffee, and he will be dead if he didn't drink coffee, so we made our move to coffea coffee, Jalan Telawi 2.

Green tea, rm13.

Coffee Latte, rm11.

Both of us actually got the love art! I kinda like the green tea. After I read foursquare's tips, we can actually request the barista to draw anything we want if they can make it.

We had our movie session at Midvalley, so that we headed to The Gardens after our tea, and we went Alexis to buy bday cake and sing bday song for him.

Mixed Fruit Pavlova, rm16.

This is my first try of pavlova, I thought it will be nice because fulled with strawberries, but it wasn't. I saw a lot ordered this instead of their tiramisu, then I doubted.... why they order pavlova -.- For me & my bf, we both barely finished our cake, this was sucks. I hate pavlova now. Tiramisu is only the best in Alexis. Sorry, no offense, I really hate the taste, entirely, of the cream, the cake....

The bday boy. Sorry for making u to eat this cake =_________=

Finally it came to our movie session, we watched the mortal instruments: city of bones. I wanted to watch this desperately not because of Lily Collins, but the trailer just attracted me alot, I love this genre of movie, like vampire, demon, angel... I think I was being a spoiler, because I tweeted the results of the movie :/ but I just can't stand with it! why?! why was the ending like this?! I read some reviews said this movie is similar with twilight but I personally feel this is better than twilight. Even Jamie Campbell Bower isn't handsome but he is so cool and sweet in the movie. I got the urge to read the story books now.

We had our anniversary dinner after our movie on the same day, I'm not going to talk anything about the anniversary first, so please stay tuned! :)

BTW, I just want to show off my pony phone case, because the pony is so cute! OK, done.... birthday is over, so.... bye bye.

FOOD: Publika WALK

My blog views are getting lesser and lesser, probably I stop for a while and my readers are gone, I have to find a way to gain my views back, so different ways of blogging will do? However, I realized I lost my blogging style or mood to blog something, I don't know how to express it in or what way to make it more interesting & charming, but it seems to be worst :(

Back to the title, publika walk, this is a post similar with my previous post, Bangsar WALK. A post about foods hunting. It's been the fourth times I went to Publika just to crave for some new foods (new foods as in  foods I have not craved yet) and Publika is really a heaven for me. So, this is a FOOD POST again.

I was in rush that time and I forgot to bring my camera, photos are captured by iPhone, so sorry for the bad qualities.

OOTD: top (dorothy perkins), leggings (thailand), shoes (guess), handbag (taobao)

Somehow this is funny photo, my ootd just showed out some inner thing of me, thank you for the photographer for not letting me know -.- this is so awkward.
I picked Publika because I wanted to try Salon Du Chocolat which is almost the same with Dip n Dip. Another reason was The Redbean Bag, I heard or saw some reviews mention their foods are not bad and stuffs like so attracted me, in fact I just wanted to try as more foods as I can, because I will start my school tomorrow and I promised someone I will not discover new foods until I done my trial.

First destination: The Redbean Bag, Solaris Dutamas.
We were late, we arrived at 2.30pm and headed to RBB straight away, but packed with people already even the time was around 2.45pm, we thought to give up but luckily we just have to wait for 15 minutes only which is worth our time to wait. We had our late lunch around 3.00pm.

We wanted to order the benedict ( aka eggs benedict)  or the atlantis. The differences between the atlantis is eggs with smoked salmon while the benedict is eggs with beef bacon or turkey ham. Due to the crowd, both the dishes we wanted to order were out of stock and ended up we ordered the baked eggs with beef, chicken & lamb, and slice of vanilla bean crepe cake & a cup of mocha.

Vanilla bean crepe cake (rm13) I'm not so fancy about this cause it tasted so much like milk.

Mocha (rm10) This is the best mocha I ever had so far, I love this so much. I don't like smth too sweet or too bitter, but this mocha was like, not so sweet but not too bitter. So my bf described it in this way: 它有chocolate的浓,coffee的香. And I was like, waaaa what a good phrase huh.

Baked eggs (rm18) Eggs are baked and served with the combination of cheese and beef, chicken & lamb, comes with 2 pieces of bread.

It was nice when I first tasted with the cheese and eggs, but when I had more bites and the cheese was getting more salty. So I think thats the reason why they served the bread along. Instead this is nicer after scooped the baked eggs with bread.

So here is the photo of me & my baked eggs.

So this is my bf with his phone on his hand and our meals. But actually all these dishes are mostly for me. Because my bf prays for guan yin, he can't eat beef, that is pretty sad, but I couldn't finish, he helped me by eating eggs, cheese, chicken sausages and potatoes only. We managed to finish it at last! and mocha is my favorite drink so he ordered that for me.

Satisfied with the meal, and I will definitely come again. Cosy place and price is reasonable for me. After that, we walked around to make ourselves not so full to continue our second round - Salon Du Chocolat

Next Destination: Salon Du Chocolat, Publika (opposite Ben's)
I shared the photo in Instagram, and I found out the likes are more than my selca one, I'm not saying I care the likes so much, but I feel its funny to see desserts have more likes than me, so probably I look uglier than the desserts :///

Salon Du Chocolat is small enough that only have 4 tables in their shop. Apparently its smaller than dip n dip. But Salon Du Chocolat serves better desserts than Dip n Dip.

Chocolate waffle with ice cream (14.50)  I didn't order an ice cream along. Icecream costs rm3 per scoop. I was like so lucky yesterday because we actually ordered plain chocolate waffle only with no ice cream, but it came with an ice cream and the waiter said I don't have to pay for it. So we got this ice cream for free.

Why do I say this is better than dip n dip, because dip n dip is a little too sweet for me while chocolate served by salon du chocolate was bitter sweet that I love so much. It was perfectly nice with the bite of choco waffle & ice cream. And salon du chocolat is cheaper than dip n dip. If i'm not mistaken, the cheapest of dip n dip's desserts is around rm18 while this waffle is only rm15 ( with no taxes )

This is my personal review, please don't judge me if you prefer dip n dip. No offense kan? kkkk.

P/S: I found that in my Bangsar Walk post was my first tried dip n dip, and now my Publika Walk is my first tried of salon du chocolat. HAHAHAHA. Ok not funny.

This is my last day of holiday and lazy people always lazy, so I'm going to rush my assignments in this last minute, enjoy my post, enjoy ur day! :)

CELEBRATION: Sis's 18th Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY PIG SISTER! (no offense, I called her in that way)

It's 12 of August and also her 18th bok bok cui bday. I guess she has her bok bok cui year also huh? getting fatter and fatter :P

So my post here is about her pre-birthday celebration with family. I don't know is this called birthday celebration but its been a long time since we all 6 family members spend time together.

My outfit of the day.

Top: kitschen, skirt: nichii, flat shoes: guess, watch: fossil, handbag: charles & keith

Sister struggled for a long time to choose either going to midvalley or pavilion or sunway? She wanted to eat sushi zanmai, but sukiya and also shogun. I stopped her to choose sunway because I don't think sunway is a nice place to hang or probably because shogun is getting worse...At last, we chose pavilion to try sukiya. In the past few times I went to pavilion, sukiya surely crowded with people, and indeed, we reached around 12.30pm, started pack with people already.

Plan changed :( gave up on sukiya and we chose din tai fung. We waited half hour for a seat because raya holiday...hmm...

Thats it! As we know, xiao long ba is very famous in din tai fung.

We waited half an hour for a seat and made our order outside the restaurant, so its photo session!

After half an hour, we finally got our seat and had our lunch! I forgot what is the name of the foods.

I think they just cooked too long and the chicken became too rough & hard to chew, I don't really like it because it's quite normal.

We ordered 3 笼 of xiao long bao. Just because my sister forgot to take photo and we left 3 pieces only, so here with the 3 pieces of xiao long bao LOL

There is 2 more dishes I didnt take which is fried rice with pork chop and sweet & sour chicken with one bowl of white rice. I love the sweet & sour chicken so much, and pork chop tasted good also. While, the mee is just a little too plain.

After our meal, we walked around and meet up with brian. My dad & sis weren't full yet and brian hasn't had his lunch, so second round in food republic. After that, we went to tokyo street and JPOP ice cream again! JPOP ice cream is a must and cannot miss out in tokyo street, I love the ice cream so much.

Green tea, black sesame & raspberry yogurt. RM8.90 per stick, its costly but worth every penny.

My dad & brothers went home after this, Brian & I brought my mom & sis to publika since they have not been there before, and most important I was craving for salon de chocolat & coffee stain.

Unfortunately, most of the shops were closed because of raya, and my mom said : this called shopping mall meh? no people also. How i know it will close when raya, probably more malay stay at there, thats why...

So we just walked around and went to B.I.G ben's independent grocer. This is a very special and high class grocery, I love this place so much and the best grocery I ever been. Discovered a lot of thing I never see before in a normal grocery shop like Tesco, Jusco & so on. Too many things to find out there 0.0 I should call myself katak di bawah tempurung. They do not allowed me to take photos but I captured something that I feel its so much intertesting.

Are you guys thinking this is just a normal photo? It is. But the special part is.... they planted the cabbage there. This is fresh cabbage, if you want to buy, pluck it out ( apparently, every cabbage with its roots ) so you will be plucked out both cabbage and its roots together. I first ever seen a grocery plant in their shop. We bought few special thing and we had our coffee time in coffee stain.

Coffe Stain by Joseph, Solaris Dutamas

Latte Macchioto, rm9.50

Espresso Macchioto, rm6

Mocha, rm9.00

Birthday cake treat from me, mocha cheese cake rm12.90.

Speak to the salon de chocolat, it closed! I was like sad to the max, I wanted to eat so desperately :( anyhow I have to accept the fact. I will try it next time, I swear.

Before headed home, I brought my mom & sis to publika park to have a short modelling time :P

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY LOVELY SISTER! <3 <3 <3
